A cards Rank can be increased by merging two cards of the same Rank, plus some of the in game currency. Cards of higher Ranks have some differences, but none of them will alter or affect the gameplay in Battle Deck. The Rank is signaled by additional visual features in the card. Such as:

Gradient;
The Rank is represented by letters in the top right corner of the card, next to the name. The letters that represent the Rank are, from lowest to highest: C, B, A, S.
