Game Title: Data2073: Battle Deck
Genre: Web3 Tactical Card Game (TCG)
Platform: PC
Target Audience: TCG enthusiasts, Web3 gamers, sci-fi fans
Synopsis: Data2073 is set in a post-apocalyptic world where factions of advanced Mechanoids battle for dominance. Players collect and deploy Mechanoid and Drone cards, each with unique abilities and stats, to compete in strategic grid-based combat.
Core Gameplay Mechanics: Players build decks from faction-specific cards, place Mechanoids on a 3x3 grid, and engage in lane-based combat. The objective is to reduce the opponent’s Architect to zero life points.
World Setting: A dystopian future where Earth's resources are depleted. Advanced AI factions vie for control over remaining territories and energy sources.
Main Factions:
Voltarx: The Voltarx Faction is composed of a group of mechanoids who call themselves The Hive. Unlike other factions that expand across the planet by extracting physical resources, Voltarx units lack the ability to generate their own energy and rely entirely on what they can steal.
Their design is entirely focused on stealth and energy theft. Masters of infiltration, these units slip unnoticed into enemy territories, draining energy to sustain their Architect and infecting opposing mechanoids, turning them into tools for their own purposes.
However, the faction faces a critical issue: the overwhelming number of unstable viruses embedded within their own code. When a unit fails its mission, its systems begin to malfunction, driving it into a state of frenzy where it attacks any energy source within reach. The Voltarx are the parasites of the new world—and when deprived of their sustenance, they become an unpredictable threat, even to themselves.
Pyron:
The Pyron Faction is composed of relentless mechanoids dedicated to mining and consuming any material that can be used as fuel. Powered by combustion energy, these mechanoids indiscriminately gather everything in their path, throwing it into their voracious furnaces. A Pyron mechanoid is easy to spot from a distance: the black smoke billowing from its chimneys and the deafening sound of heavy metal pounding the ground are its unmistakable trademarks.
The design of Pyron mechanoids is purely functional, focused on destroying, crushing, grinding, and incinerating anything in their way. Most units are built to operate within mines, extracting minerals that are either used as fuel to generate energy or to enhance weapons and other destructive tools.
The Pyron mechanoids frequently target the Solara Faction, drawn by the abundance of natural resources that can be burned and converted into energy. This ongoing conflict reflects Pyron’s predatory nature, viewing the world as an endless source of fuel to exploit.
Solara:
The Solara Faction is composed of a group of mechanoids dedicated to protecting what remains of the old world. Powered by solar energy, they establish vast cities within the few surviving forests, constructing buildings that serve as laboratories to study and preserve the last remnants of nature.
The design of Solara mechanoids is inspired by animals, granting them efficient mobility in natural environments. Their forms vary greatly, adapting to the ecosystems in which they operate—be it dense forests, treacherous swamps, rocky mountains, or expansive savannas. This versatility ensures their effectiveness across diverse scenarios.
A defining feature of Solara units is the presence of solar panels on most of their mechanoids. These panels allow for the efficient collection of large amounts of energy, which is stored in high-capacity batteries. This energy can be shared with other units in need of a charge, reinforcing the solidarity and interdependence that define this faction.
